CORINNE + ADRIAN // BROOKLEIGH ESTATE WEDDING

What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?

We saw a friends wedding video and thought it was really special and so changed our minds about having a videographer.

Why did you choose Castle Media?

You were the videographer at said wedding and I (Adrian) was in that bridal party and I loved your fly on the wall, hands off/candid style.

What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

Adrian: I am a structural engineer. I am a bit of a nerd, love all things science. Also love my sport - I play indoor soccer and squash every week and it's what keeps me sane during the work week.

Corinne: I work as an administrator in a swim school and also coach swimming. I also study Philosophy part time and have nearly finished my degree. Before becoming a full time wedding planner (lol), I loved gardening, reading and sewing.

We love spending time together eating amazing food, ballroom dancing, making cocktails, hanging out with our cat Sebastian ang trying to fix the worlds problems.

The most important things in life is being with each other, having a family, love, health and happiness.

The proposal...

I decided I wanted to marry her after about 6 months (and I was 99.9% sure she did too) after a big conversation about our future. Shortly after, she provided perfect cover for me as she suggested we go for a weekend stay-cation. We went to Joondalup resort and I enlisted my best man and his partner to set up a surprise picnic in a beautiful spot on the grounds and to hide in the bushes to capture the moment. I pretended we were going to the resort restaurant for an early dinner, but I led her (not as inconspicuously as I planned) on a slight detour past the picnic. She didn't notice it all so I had to pull her off the footpath to stop her. She kept interrupting me saying things like "what's happening", "why are you being weird" etc. So I got flustered and half abandoned my prepared speech and just got down on one knee and asked her.

The venue? Why Brookleigh Estate above anywhere else?

It's absolutely stunning and ticked all the boxes of what we wanted - outdoors, in Swan Valley, nice lovely garden, scenic, spacious and there's animals!

What experience do you want to give your guests?

We want it to feel like a big family meal - there's no bridal table at the reception so we're sitting in amongst our guests on long tables with shared banquet family style dining. We wanted a Mediterranean vibe throughout to celebrate our heritage. And most of all we want everyone to let their hair down and have a lot of fun!
