DEMI + GEORGE // LINGA LONGA ESTATE WEDDING
What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?

Whilst pictures are amazing and will be cherished within our house for a lifetime, there's just something about having your special day captured on film, like your own personal movie! We decided to invest in a videographer so that we would always be able to look back at the day and see all the little details we may have missed!

Why did you choose Castle Media?

How could we not! Your videos are like a work of art and really capture the essence of the day and the love between the couples. As soon as we saw your videos, we knew there was no one else we would want to capture our special day!

What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

Living in the Pilbara (Tom Price), we love to take day trips exploring Karijini National Park, pop to Exmouth for the weekend (just a short 5 hours away). When we aren't doing that, George is normally playing games on his computer or doing Jiu Jitsu whilst Demi can be found doing Pilates Reformer or reading a book.
The most important thing in life to us is creating memories with the people we cherish most (that includes the dogs) and remembering not to take life too seriously, because 9 times out of 10, it's a bad day, not a bad life.

The proposal...

George decided to propose to me the week before Christmas. We were about to head down to Perth to celebrate with the family, but my dad wasn't able to come (got to love that FIFO life) and whilst he was planning on asking me at the beach *romantic*, he knew I would prefer the intimacy of just us and the people I love. So, we go to my parents' house, have a fake family Christmas (I'm talking ham, Christmas crackers, presents, the lot) then we all went outside to breath a bit after the large amount of food we just devoured. It turns out George and my sister stayed inside and set up waaay to many candles (like a fire hazard amount) and turned out all the lights. George then asked me to come inside so he could ask me a question. I could tell by his nerves something was going on, but it wasn't till I walked inside and noticed all the lights out and the candles leading to the middle of the room that I had a suspicion of what was about to happen. He then got down on one knee and I am pretty sure he said a bunch of beautiful things, but my eyes were trying to readjust from the sudden darkness and the tears that were forming, so I can't be sure what was said. Of course, I said yes, and the rest, is history!

The venue? Why Linga Longa above anywhere else?

We loved the natural beauty of the dam and forest. a big contract to our usual surroundings. no red dirt in sight!
We also loved the fact we could offer our guests the ability to camp and party the night away knowing they would be able to walk to their tent, pass out and then wake up in the morning and discuss the night before!

What experience do you want to give your guests?

A day they will remember FOREVER!
