MICHAELA + TIM // LINGA LONGA ESTATE WEDDING
What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?
Tim’s Dad passed away recently and we have a video of him at his brothers wedding 3 years ago and we want to have the memory of the day and everyone there forever.
Why did you choose Castle Media?
Victoria Baker recommended you and we loved the videos you’ve made on your Instagram, the clarity is amazing and they’re so nicely put together. You really know how to capture the moment.
What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?
We both work in orthopaedics and are always very busy at work so when we have down time we tend to do a whole lot of not much but it’s almost always outdoors in nature relaxing / fishing / hunting and just soaking it all up together.
Family/ friends and each other are what’s important to us.
The proposal ...Tell me everything...
I met Tim after a conference in Sydney and I went up to the hotel room while he was at an award ceremony…he’d left me a romantic note on the bed and was so excited when he came up. We flew out to New Zealand the next morning, which is another one of Tim’s fav places and he wanted to show me. We went to Wanaka which I loved, it was totally a hippie town. My bucket list has always had swimming under a waterfall on it, Tim was taking me to a waterfall to tick it off! On the way there he pulled over and said he wanted to show me something and he took me to “that Wanaka tree” and we were soaking it all in when he very quickly and very awkwardly knelt down SUPER close to me and because of our height difference he was probably look straight into a set of chins and he blurted out “will you marry me” and my response was “are you joking”…not the most romantic I am haha!
The venue? Why Linga Longa Estate above anywhere else?
It’s Tims favourite area and the Forest is so enchanting like Michaela’s fairytale.
What experience do you want to give your guests?
Just want them all to let loose/ relax and have fun…dance, drink, eat and laugh.
