What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?

We decided to invest in a wedding videographer as we wanted to be able to look back on our special day and reminisce. We specially have family located overseas and it gives us an opportunity to share the day with them and those who couldn't make it. We have also been told the day goes by so quickly and to get it captured is a bonus to help remember those little details we may forget down the track. It is also a great opportunity to have moments like speeches, gift giving, first dances and even just what the venue looked like on the day captured.

Why did you choose Castle Media?

Excellent videography style and affordable!

What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

Jaxon is an electrician out on the mines and I work as a maintenance planner. We spend most of our weekends either camping, jet skiing (beach) and enjoying our dog Odin's company. What is important to us is our family, friends and just having fun. We have learnt that time is precious and to make the most of it.

The proposal ...Tell me everything...

We were both on holiday in South Africa visiting my family (bride). My family organised a birthday lunch/ picnic at Vergelegen Wine Estate in the camphor forest. My parents, aunty & uncle joined us. Jaxon (groom) wanted to go for a walk and insisted I show him the gardens I have always wanted to show him. At this stage my uncle had disappeared, I was told he was feeling unwell and will return shortly. We started walking, Jaxon got very quiet, palms were getting very sweaty and I saw rose petals. As we get closer I spot my Uncle in the bush/forest being the photographer (which he is a photographer). As we approach the end of the roses, Jaxon gets down on one knee and proposes. My uncle captured the whole proposal, and I was surrounded with the ones that meant the most. Was beautiful! We continued our picnic and indulged in some beautiful wine.

The venue? Why Old Broadwater Farm above anywhere else?

The garden, location, tranquility and beauty of the farm captured everything we wanted. Accomodation was a bonus.
