What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?

Everybody says the day is going to be a blur, and we want to actually remember it. We hope that our video captures the energy, the laughter, and the bits we’ll probably miss in the chaos. Plus, we want to relive the dance moves, the dodgy speeches, and have something to look back on for years.

Why did you choose Castle Media?

​

Dave came well recommended and seemed to have a reliable presence in the industry, watched many videos and liked what we saw. Was easy to get along with at our meeting.

What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

​

Siobhan works as a psychologist, and Jakov is an engineer, but our main priority is our daughter, Mila. Between work and family life, we love keeping busy, spending time with friends, and getting outdoors whenever we can. Whether it’s a walk, a catch-up over good food, or just chasing Mila around, we try to make the most of our time together.

Jakov surprised me after work by asking me before heading out to a nice dinner, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to happen then but was a lovely surprise.

The venue? Why Hillbrook above anywhere else?

​

Siobhan grew up on the farm we are getting married, and her family still lives there. We thought it would be more relaxed, a bit easier (and less expensive) but has actually been a lot of work getting everything together but also really rewarding to see it all come together. It’s been a labour of love between both our families and been something to bring us all together and focus on getting everything ready.​

What experience do you want to give your guests?

​

We want our guests to have a wedding experience that feels fun, relaxed, and full of great food, music, and energy. No stuffy formalities—just a big celebration where everyone can eat, drink, dance, and enjoy the night. We want people to walk away thinking they enjoyed themselves.
