How long will you be with us on our wedding day ?When you book me I'm yours for the day. As a general rule I am with you 2 - 3 hours before your ceremony for the bride and groom preparations and around 1 hour after your formalities and first dance are complete. I do not leave until I have everything I need to make you a perfect set of films and will not charge for any extra hours if for any reason your wedding runs later than expected.
-
What can we expect from you on the day ?I like everything to be as natural and relaxed for you as possible. I do my best at staying unobtrusive to you and your guests throughout the day. I will provide subtle direction as needed, however you will not be asked to perform or do silly poses. Candid and natural is the goal.

How do you work with our photographer ?On your wedding day, photography and videography shouldn’t feel like separate services—they should work together effortlessly. That’s exactly how I approach every wedding: as part of a unified team, ensuring your day runs smoothly. Collaboration is key. I pay close attention to the details, anticipate moments before they happen, and always keep your photographer in mind. Their role is crucial in capturing your memories, and I make sure they have the time and space to do their best work. Rather than staging every shot, I focus on filming candidly, moving naturally alongside your photographer. This keeps the day relaxed and stress-free while preserving all the moments that make it special.
-
What films will we receive ?My film collection consists of four films. The highlight film can range in length from four to six minutes, while the feature film can span fifteen to twenty minutes in total. The highlight film is designed to show the most poignant moments of your wedding, capturing the essence of your day. The feature film offers a more comprehensive and immersive experience, with a slower pace. Edited in a linear style, beginning with the preparations and concluding on the dance floor. Ceremony and reception formalities are captured and edited in real-time as two individual films, ensuring that you will witness the entire event, as it was on the day, without any alterations or omissions.
-
Can we choose the music ?I handpick the music to suit the feel and pace of your day and is selected to be perfectly paired with your highlight and feature films. All music is sourced from specialised licensed music websites and is royalty-free to ensure no copyright infringements.
-
When will we receive our wedding films ?Editing your complete set of films usually takes between 4 - 6 weeks. I personally edit every wedding and will never send your films to strangers from dubious online editing services.
-
Do you include drone footage in our wedding films ?Drone footage is included in every film collection. A drone is the perfect way to create stunning shots of your venue and the surrounding landscapes. All drone footage is subject to venue rules, weather conditions and Australian drone laws. I am CASA accredited to operate drones throughout Australia.
-
How can we book ?Please complete the enquiry form to find out if your date is available. A 25% booking fee is all that is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding day. With limited dates available each year, bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, dates cannot be held without a booking fee. Enquire about your wedding date.
-
Do you travel ?Castle Media is based in Perth but I also travel across the state, Australia and beyond. If your day is going to take place within Perth and the South West then all the travel costs are already covered. If you are getting married further afield there will be an additional fee to cover travel and accommodation.
-
Will you send a contractor or a stranger to shoot our wedding ?Absolutely not. I do not use contractors at all. I personally shoot and edit every wedding. This way I can guarantee that every film I make has the same style, quality and attention to detail. This is something I'm really proud of and it is becoming a rarity in the industry.
