What made you decide to invest in wedding videography?

Louise wanted to caoture the day aside from photos. Videography was highly recommended by friends and family.

Why did you choose Castle Media?

​​

We love the style of the films, love the idea of drone footage, especially of Old Broadwater Farm - we think this would be amazing if weather permits. We also loved that you're there for the day and don't have set hours of filming. Talking with you through email and text, we could tell you're very friendly and would work well with us; Joel doesn't like to be in front of the camera for photos or videos (Louise is a bit better and more comfortable) and we think you will be perfect to capture our day without making us feel overwhelmed.

What do you do?..How do you spend your days?..What's important in life?

​

We both work full time. Louise is a research pharmacist at Royal Perth Hospital and Joel is a Senior Project Manager in construction. We love the outdoors, our dog (who will be at the wedding), outdoor activites and fitness. Family and friends are important to us too.

The proposal...

​

We went to France for Christmas last year, and travelled to Chamonix (near the border of France, Italy and Switzerland). Joel took Louise up to Aiguille du Midi (elevation 3,842m) and we looked out over the snow-covered alps. This was Louise's first time in Europe, and first time seeing snow. We found a quiet place on the deck away from tourists and Louise heard a thud behind her... it was Joel's limited mobility in snow pants falling on his knee whilst trying to get on one knee. Joel asked Louise to marry him - she said yes.

The venue? Why Old Broadwater Farm above anywhere else?

​

We both love southwest WA and if we could do our jobs in Busselton, we definitely would. We walked into Old Broadwater Farm and knew any other venue would be difficult to beat.

What experience do you want to give your guests?

​

Our wedding ceremony is traditional and the wedding theme is elegant, timeless with a touch of vintage/ old Hollywood. We want our guests to be well fed and to have an amazing time!
